The SunL SLE-500 battery replacement kit comes with (2) OR-12120F2 ah high-rate discharge batteries needed in order to replace the depleted set within the scooter. The sealed lead acid batteries contained in this kit are a high-rate discharge series designed specifically for use in electric scooter, beware of other companies attempting to sell general purpose batteries. The batteries in this kit are guaranteed to match and/or exceed the OEM batteries for the SunL SLE-500.

Note: In order to properly care for your battery, you must charge up the batteries once every two to three months in the off-season. Every sealed lead acid battery manufactured today will discharge at a natural rate, meaning that a battery sitting for an extended period of time without being used will discharge itself. This process is natural, and will not hinder the performance of your battery. However, when the battery is left in a discharged state for an extended period of time (one to two months) sulfation will begin to build up on the inner plates of the battery greatly reducing its capacity and run time in the scooter. This is the number one killer of all scooter batteries!
