Power-Sonic PS-490 4 Volt Battery
The Power-Sonic PS-490 battery is power-sonic's standard version of a a 9ah 4 volt battery that is completely seal and maintenance free.
Power-Sonic PS-490 Battery Specifications:
Voltage: 4 volt battery
Capacity: 9 amp hour
Terminal: F2
Height (w/terminal): 4.02"
Length: 4.01"
Width: 1.73"
Weight: 2.20 Lbs
Cycle Applications: Limit initial current to 2.7A. Charge until Power-Sonic PS 490 voltage (under charge) reaches 4.8 to 5.0 volts at 68°F (20°C). Hold at 4.8 to 5.0 volts until current drops to under 90mA. This 4 volt battery is fully charged under these conditions, and charger should be disconnected or switched to “float” voltage.
“Float” or “Stand-By” Service: Hold battery across constant voltage source of 4.5 to 4.6 volts continuously. When held at this voltage, the battery will seek its own current level and maintain itself in a fully charged condition.
Note: Due to the self-discharge characteristics of the Power-Sonic PS 490 battery, it is imperative that they be charged within 6 months of storage, otherwise permanent loss of capacity might occur as a result of sulfation
