The NOCO GB40 Boost Jump Starter is a compact 1,000 amp UltraSafe lithium powered automotive jump starter capable of producing 7,000 Joules of starting power. The NOCO GB40 unit is designed for use with gas engines up to 6 liters and diesel up to 3 liters. The GB40 unit also doubles as a large portable power pack which is capable of charging USB devices like iPhones, tablets, GoPros, GPS units and more.

A: Nothing, it is perfectly safe and there will be no sparks. The entire NOCO Boost series has built in sensors that prevent power from being delivered, unless a battery is detected

A: It can hold 70% of its rated capacity for up to one year. For optimal performance, it is recommended to charge the device at least every 6-12 months, after initial charge.
Q: Can it recharge my branded smartphone?
A: Yes. It can recharge all generations of smartphones on the market, as well as HD action cameras, tablets, music players, wireless speakers and more.
Q: Does it have any limitations on car engine size for jump starting?

Q: How do you charge the NOCO GB40 unit?
A: The GB40 unit is charged via a micro-usb port on the input side of the unit. You can re-charge the unit through either an auxiallary port in a vehicle or with a USB style charger (cell phone charger).
Q: What type of batteries can I use this on?
A: It can be used on any 12-volt lead-acid battery, such as, Wet, Gel, Maintenance-Free, Enhanced Flooded Battery (EFB) and AGM. This unit is not designed to jump start lithium motorcycle or car batteries.

We have worked with UPS over the years to get our customers the lowest possible shipping rates for both ground and expedited shipping methods. All of our shipping rates are pulled through a live rate calculation system directly from UPS’s servers - High-Tech Battery Solutions does not add anything to the rate pulled from our corporate UPS account, what we get charged the customer gets charged.
Our primary package carriers used are UPS, USPS, and FedEx.
All orders placed before 2 P.M. EST Monday through Friday will get shipped out the same day they are received unless otherwise state on the product page of the ordered item. Expedited shipping services are available for a majority of our products, exclusions do apply for conventional style motorcycle batteries and primary lithium products.
We will accept returned items that have been purchased directly through High-Tech Battery Solutions, Inc. that fall within 30 days time of delivery. All customers looking to return a product must have Return Authorization Form issued to them from a High-Tech Battery Solutions, Inc. staff member. Items that are returned without the correct documentation are not guaranteed a refund.
The customer is to ship the item back to High-Tech Battery Solutions, Inc. at their own expense using a delivery service of their choice. During the RMA request process we do offer our customers the option to use our commercial shipping rates to return the order. Using our commercial shipping rates will guarantee the lowest possible UPS rate which we can then deduct from the customers total refund.
Once the product arrives at our facility it will be inspected to ensure the quality, both in terms of performance and physical appearance (can’t take back a beat up item). Once the product has been confirmed to be in new condition, a refund will be issued for the price of the battery.
