Note: In order to properly care for your Freedom 803 Battery, you must charge up the batteries once every two to three months in the off-season. Every sealed lead acid battery manufactured today will discharge at a natural rate, meaning that a battery sitting for an extended period of time without being used can and will discharge itself. This process is natural, and will not hinder the performance of your Freedom 803 battery. However, when the battery is left in a discharged state for an extended period of time (one to two months) sulfation will begin to build up on the inner plates of the battery greatly reducing its capacity and run time in the scooter. This is the number one killer of all scooter batteries!
